Is the 39-year-old singer officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Cassie Ventura, 39, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for her role in Step Up 2: The Streets and best known for her hit song Me & U really single again?

Ventura spotted alone

A fan spotted Cassie Ventura walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of July 14, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Cassie back on the market?

A rep for Cassie Ventura was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer - known for having been romantically involved with Puff Daddy or Ryan Leslie - was splitting hit the internet Wednesday (July 15), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
