Could Cassie Ventura be ramping up to join James Bond's globe-trotting adventures?

American star Cassie Ventura is reportedly set to play the Bond girl in the next edition of “James Bond” franchise. The Internet is buzzing with rumors that the singer best known for her role in Step Up 2: The Streets and best known for her hit song Me & U could be cast as the female lead opposite Daniel Craig.

“The producers have tried to get Cassie before, but she has never been available because of other commitments,” a source close to the production said about the actress. “The discussions have been going on for some time and they are working out the contract details now.”

This 'Ventura to play Bond Girl' Rumor had the internet in a frenzy

Twitter was flooded again Saturday with loads of tweets related to the rumor. Some fans even launched an online Facebook page called We Want Cassie Ventura for Bond Girl.
