Is the Les Rita Mitsouko ex-lead singer officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Les Rita Mitsouko ex-lead singer Catherine Ringer, 68, and her partner had split up. Is the French singer really single again?

Ringer spotted alone

A fan spotted Catherine Ringer walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of August 31, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Catherine back on the market?

A rep for Catherine Ringer was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (September 1), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
