Is the former French Housing Minister officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Cécile Duflot, 50, and her partner had split up. Is the former French Housing Minister really single again?

Duflot spotted alone

A fan spotted Cécile Duflot walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 14, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Cécile back on the market?

A rep for Cécile Duflot was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the politician was splitting hit the internet Sunday (March 15), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
