Is the 68-year-old politician officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Cécilia Attias, 68, and her partner had split up. Is the French politician really single again?

Attias spotted alone

A fan spotted Cécilia Attias walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of February 23, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Cécilia back on the market?

A rep for Cécilia Attias was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the politician was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (February 24), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
