Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Céline Dion, 58, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for hit songs like S'il suffisait d'aimer, My Heart Will Go On or Pour que tu m'aimes encore really single again?

Dion spotted alone

A fan spotted Céline Dion walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of May 10, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Céline back on the market?

A rep for Céline Dion was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Monday (May 11), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
