Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Chantal Lauby, 68, and her partner had split up. Is the comedienne best known for her roles in Serial (Bad) Weddings or The City of Fear really single again?

Lauby spotted alone
A fan spotted Chantal Lauby walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 14, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”
Is Chantal back on the market?
A rep for Chantal Lauby was not immediately available for comment.
Truth or rumor, when news that the comedienne was splitting hit the internet Sunday (March 15), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
