Is the 80-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Charlotte Rampling, 80, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in 45 Years or Summer Things really single again?

Rampling spotted alone

A fan spotted Charlotte Rampling walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of February 20, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Charlotte back on the market?

A rep for Charlotte Rampling was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Jean Michel Jarre - was splitting hit the internet Saturday (February 21), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
