Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Cheryl Hines, 60, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Curb Your Enthusiasm or Suburgatory really single again?

Hines spotted alone

A fan spotted Cheryl Hines walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of May 11, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Cheryl back on the market?

A rep for Cheryl Hines was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (May 12), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
