Remembering Chester Bennington, 6 Years Later

It has been exactly 6 long years since Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington died in Palos Verdes Estates on July 20, 2017 at the age of 41. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed singers of his generation.

Today, fans of Chester Bennington along with the rest of the music world have been remembering the iconic man he was.

Bennington, a cultural icon

Born Chester Charles Bennington in Phoenix on March 20, 1976, his career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in American history. Bennington was not just a great singer, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.

His legacy continues to grow as new generations of fans are discovering his unique musical heritage.

It's been 6 years since the tragic loss of Chester Bennington and his personality still resonate strongly within us all. Although Chester Bennington is no longer physically here, his presence is more powerful than ever. He left a void that has yet to be filled.
