Is the 27-year-old singer officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that China Anne McClain, 27, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for her roles in A.N.T. Farm or Tyler Perry's House of Payne really single again?

McClain spotted alone

A fan spotted China Anne McClain walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of February 20, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is China back on the market?

A rep for China Anne McClain was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer - known for having been romantically involved with Jake Short - was splitting hit the internet Saturday (February 21), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
