Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Christine Boutin, 80, and her partner had split up. Is the president of the Christian Democratic Party really single again?

Boutin spotted alone

A fan spotted Christine Boutin walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 24, 2024. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Christine back on the market?

A rep for Christine Boutin was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the politician was splitting hit the internet Thursday (April 25), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
