Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Ciara, 40, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for hit songs like Body Party, Like a Boy or Goodies really single again?

Ciara spotted alone

A fan spotted Ciara walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 11, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Ciara back on the market?

A rep for Ciara was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer - known for having been romantically involved with Trey Songz or 50 Cent - was splitting hit the internet Monday (January 12), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
