Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Claire Chazal, 69, and her partner had split up. Is the French evening news anchor really single again?

Chazal spotted alone
A fan spotted Claire Chazal walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of October 2, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”
Is Claire back on the market?
A rep for Claire Chazal was not immediately available for comment.
Truth or rumor, when news that the journalist was splitting hit the internet Saturday (October 3), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
