Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Claudia Sheinbaum, 64, and her partner had split up. Is the Mexican President really single again?

Sheinbaum spotted alone

A fan spotted Claudia Sheinbaum walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of September 18, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Claudia back on the market?

A rep for Claudia Sheinbaum was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the politician was splitting hit the internet Saturday (September 19), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
