Sad news for Cornillac fans. Speculation had been rife that the French actor best known for his roles in The Perfect Date, Asterix at the Olympic Games or The Tiger Brigades, will announce his retirement from acting, at age 56, with immediate effect.

Other reports hinted that he may branch out into other creative fields he is better at (and more interested in), though they didn't provide any details.
