Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Coralie Fargeat, 45, and her partner had split up. Is the director best known for the movie The Substance really single again?

Fargeat spotted alone

A fan spotted Coralie Fargeat walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 18, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Coralie back on the market?

A rep for Coralie Fargeat was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the director was splitting hit the internet Thursday (March 19), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
