Is the Téléphone ex-bassist officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Téléphone ex-bassist Corine Marienneau, 74, and her partner had split up. Is the French musician really single again?

Marienneau spotted alone

A fan spotted Corine Marienneau walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 27, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Corine back on the market?

A rep for Corine Marienneau was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the musician was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (April 28), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
