Is the former Argentine president officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Cristina Kirchner, 72, and her partner had split up. Is the former Argentine president really single again?

Kirchner spotted alone

A fan spotted Cristina Kirchner walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of February 5, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Cristina back on the market?

A rep for Cristina Kirchner was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the politician was splitting hit the internet Friday (February 6), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
