Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Dana Delany, 70, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Desperate Housewives or China Beach really single again?

Delany spotted alone

A fan spotted Dana Delany walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of July 16, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Dana back on the market?

A rep for Dana Delany was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Friday (July 17), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
