Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Danai Gurira, 47, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in All Eyez on Me or The Walking Dead really single again?

Gurira spotted alone
A fan spotted Danai Gurira walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 13, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”
Is Danai back on the market?
A rep for Danai Gurira was not immediately available for comment.
Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Sunday (December 14), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
