Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Van Halen lead singer David Lee Roth, 71, and his partner had split up. Is the American singer really single again?

Roth spotted alone
A fan spotted David Lee Roth walking alone, probably coming back from picking up his mail at the end of his several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 22, 2025. Was he all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “He was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”
Is David Lee back on the market?
A rep for David Lee Roth was not immediately available for comment.
Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (December 23), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
