Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Debbe Dunning, 59, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role on the television series Home Improvement really single again?

Dunning spotted alone

A fan spotted Debbe Dunning walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 14, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Debbe back on the market?

A rep for Debbe Dunning was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Thursday (January 15), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
