Is the 81-year-old singer officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Diane Dufresne, 81, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for hit songs like Oxygène or J'ai rencontré l'homme de ma vie really single again?

Dufresne spotted alone

A fan spotted Diane Dufresne walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Diane back on the market?

A rep for Diane Dufresne was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Monday (March 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
