Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Diane Lane, 61, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Unfaithful or A Little Romance really single again?

Lane spotted alone
A fan spotted Diane Lane walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of February 21, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”
Is Diane back on the market?
A rep for Diane Lane was not immediately available for comment.
Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Christopher Lambert, Richie Sambora, Jon Bon Jovi or Josh Brolin - was splitting hit the internet Sunday (February 22), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
