Is the former Brazilian President officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Dilma Rousseff, 78, and her partner had split up. Is the former Brazilian President really single again?

Rousseff spotted alone

A fan spotted Dilma Rousseff walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of April 4, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Dilma back on the market?

A rep for Dilma Rousseff was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the politician was splitting hit the internet Sunday (April 5), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
