Is the 70-year-old fashion designer officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Donatella Versace, 70, and her partner had split up. Is the Italian fashion designer really single again?

Versace spotted alone

A fan spotted Donatella Versace walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of May 18, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Donatella back on the market?

A rep for Donatella Versace was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the fashion designer was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (May 19), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
