Break-Up Rumors, Is Donna Strickland Single Again?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Donna Strickland, 67, and her partner had split up. Is Nobel Prize in Physics 2017 really single again?

Strickland spotted alone

A fan spotted Donna Strickland walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of August 10, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Donna back on the market?

A rep for Donna Strickland was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the scientist was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (August 11), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
