Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Dorothée, 72, and her partner had split up. Is the former host of ‘Le Club Dorothée’ really single again?

Dorothée spotted alone

A fan spotted Dorothée walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of May 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Dorothée back on the market?

A rep for Dorothée was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Saturday (May 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
