Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Dua Lipa, 30, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for her hit song New Rules really single again?

Lipa spotted alone

A fan spotted Dua Lipa walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Dua back on the market?

A rep for Dua Lipa was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Friday (January 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
