Is the 61-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Edith González, 61, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Cielo rojo, Doña Bárbara or Salomé really single again?

González spotted alone

A fan spotted Edith González walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of October 25, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Edith back on the market?

A rep for Edith González was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Monday (October 26), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
