Is the 63-year-old model officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Elle Macpherson, 63, and her partner had split up. Is the Australian model really single again?

Macpherson spotted alone

A fan spotted Elle Macpherson walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of October 1, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Elle back on the market?

A rep for Elle Macpherson was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the model - known for having been romantically involved with Ayrton Senna, Warren Beatty, Arpad Busson, Billy Joel, Michael Hutchence or Kevin Costner - was splitting hit the internet Friday (October 2), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:

“Has anyone Elle’s phone number?”

“Hate to see Macpherson split up, but I thought the pairing was a little weird.”

Based on the facts (Macpherson spotted alone with a cute sweater), is there trouble in paradise or is it much ado about nothing?
