Is the 67-year-old comedienne officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Ellen DeGeneres, 67, and her partner had split up. Is the host of ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ really single again?

DeGeneres spotted alone

A fan spotted Ellen DeGeneres walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 12, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Ellen back on the market?

A rep for Ellen DeGeneres was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the comedienne - known for having been romantically involved with Anne Heche - was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (January 13), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
