Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Ellen Wong, 40, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in The Carrie Diaries or Scott Pilgrim vs. the World really single again?

Wong spotted alone

A fan spotted Ellen Wong walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 24, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Ellen back on the market?

A rep for Ellen Wong was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Thursday (December 25), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
