Is the 60-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Embeth Davidtz, 60, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role in Matilda really single again?

Davidtz spotted alone

A fan spotted Embeth Davidtz walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 9, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Embeth back on the market?

A rep for Embeth Davidtz was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (March 10), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
