Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Evonne Goolagong, 74, and her partner had split up. Is the Australian tennis player really single again?

Goolagong spotted alone

A fan spotted Evonne Goolagong walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of February 25, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Evonne back on the market?

A rep for Evonne Goolagong was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the tennis player was splitting hit the internet Thursday (February 26), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
