Is the 69-year-old singer officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Fafá de Belém, 69, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for albums like Pássaro Sonhador, Doces Palavras or Fafá really single again?

Fafá de Belém spotted alone

A fan spotted Fafá de Belém walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of July 15, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Fafá back on the market?

A rep for Fafá de Belém was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Thursday (July 16), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
