Remembering Federico Fellini, 30 Years Later

It has been exactly 30 long years since Federico Fellini died in Rome on October 31, 1993 at the age of 73. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed directors of his generation.

Today, fans of Federico Fellini (Eight and a Half, La Dolce Vita, ...) along with the rest of the film industry have been remembering the iconic man he was.

Fellini, a cultural icon

Born in Rimini on January 20, 1920, Federico Fellini's career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in Italian history. Fellini was not just a great director, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.

His legacy continues to grow as new generations of fans are discovering his unique heritage.

It's been 30 years since the tragic loss of Federico Fellini and his personality still resonate strongly within us all. Although Federico Fellini is no longer physically here, his presence is more powerful than ever. He left a void that has yet to be filled.
