It has been exactly 10 long years since ‘Les Russkoffs’ author François Cavanna died in Créteil on January 29, 2014 at the age of 90. As a number of online tributes attest, he was one of the most acclaimed authors of his generation.
Today, fans of François Cavanna along with the rest of the world have been remembering the iconic man he was.

Born in Nogent-sur-Marne on February 22, 1923, François Cavanna's career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in French history. Cavanna was not just a great author, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.
