Born in San Bernardino on January 30, 1930, Gene Hackman's career spanned an arc over many different eras and tastes in American history. Hackman was not just a great actor, he was an icon, an all-around inspiration to everyone.

In 1978 he touched the hearts of millions as Lex Luthor in ‘Superman’. His legacy continues to grow as new generations of fans are discovering his unique heritage.

It's been one year since the tragic loss of Gene Hackman and his personality still resonate strongly within us all. Although Gene Hackman is no longer physically here, his presence is more powerful than ever. He left a void that has yet to be filled.
