Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Grace Jones, 78, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for albums like Slave to the Rhythm or Nightclubbing really single again?

Jones spotted alone

A fan spotted Grace Jones walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of August 28, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Grace back on the market?

A rep for Grace Jones was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer was splitting hit the internet Saturday (August 29), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
