Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Hapsatou Sy, 44, and her partner had split up. Is the television host best known as cast member of Les Terriens du dimanche really single again?

Sy spotted alone

A fan spotted Hapsatou Sy walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 16, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Hapsatou back on the market?

A rep for Hapsatou Sy was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the television host was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (March 17), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
