Born Harlem Jean-Philippe Désir in Paris on November 25, 1959, his career spans an arc over many different eras and tastes in French history. Désir's not just a great politician, he's an inspiration, an icon and a successful business man. At this point in his career, there seems to be little Harlem hasn't done.
