Is the 36-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Hayden Panettiere, 36, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her role on the television series Heroes really single again?

Panettiere spotted alone

A fan spotted Hayden Panettiere walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 24, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Hayden back on the market?

A rep for Hayden Panettiere was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Jesse McCartney, Stephen Colletti, Kevin Connolly, Wladimir Klitschko or Milo Ventimiglia - was splitting hit the internet Thursday (December 25), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
