Is the 69-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Imelda Staunton, 69, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Maleficent or Vera Drake really single again?

Staunton spotted alone

A fan spotted Imelda Staunton walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 30, 2025. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Imelda back on the market?

A rep for Imelda Staunton was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Monday (March 31), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
