Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Ingrid Betancourt, 62, and her partner had split up. Is the French politician really single again?

Betancourt spotted alone

A fan spotted Ingrid Betancourt walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of December 21, 2024. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Ingrid back on the market?

A rep for Ingrid Betancourt was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the politician was splitting hit the internet Sunday (December 22), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
