Is the 70-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Isabelle Adjani, 70, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in French Women, Queen Margot, Camille Claudel or One Deadly Summer really single again?

Adjani spotted alone

A fan spotted Isabelle Adjani walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 5, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Isabelle back on the market?

A rep for Isabelle Adjani was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Jean Michel Jarre, Warren Beatty or Daniel Day-Lewis - was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (January 6), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
