Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Issa Rae, 41, and her partner had split up. Is the Issa Rae really single again?

Diop spotted alone

A fan spotted Issa Rae walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of June 27, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Jo-Issa back on the market?

A rep for Issa Rae was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress was splitting hit the internet Sunday (June 28), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
