Is the 50-year-old actress officially back on the market?

Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Itatí Cantoral, 50, and her partner had split up. Is the actress best known for her roles in Hasta que el dinero nos separe or María la del barrio really single again?

Cantoral spotted alone

A fan spotted Itatí Cantoral walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of March 16, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Itatí back on the market?

A rep for Itatí Cantoral was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the actress - known for having been romantically involved with Eduardo Santamarina - was splitting hit the internet Tuesday (March 17), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
