Are celebrities more likely to divorce or break up? Earlier this week news reports surfaced that Ivete Sangalo, 53, and her partner had split up. Is the singer best known for hit songs like Dançando, Quando a Chuva Passar or Se eu não te amasse tanto assim really single again?

Sangalo spotted alone

A fan spotted Ivete Sangalo walking alone, probably coming back from picking up her mail at the end of her several mile long driveway, on the afternoon of January 31, 2026. Was she all alone? “Definitely yes,” says the fan, adding that “She was wearing a large sweater and looked really cute!”

Is Ivete back on the market?

A rep for Ivete Sangalo was not immediately available for comment.

Truth or rumor, when news that the singer - known for having been romantically involved with Luciano Huck or Malvino Salvador - was splitting hit the internet Sunday (February 1), Twitter immediately exploded with pithy commentary. It seems everyone had an opinion on the matter:
